Gauteng Province TB Caucus Induction
The Gauteng Province TB Caucus induction workshop was successfully conducted on 26 February 2025. The session was attended by a Members of the Legislature and supported by key stakeholders, including the Civil Society Forum (CSF), the Provincial Council on AIDS (PCA), and the provincial HAST Directorate.
In preparation for the induction, the province had already developed and circulated its implementation plan, which was subsequently presented, reviewed, and adopted during the workshop. Following this, the provincial TB caucus commenced the implementation phase, prioritising support for the World TB Day (WTD) build-up activities, as well as the main provincial WTD commemoration event, which took place on 27 March 2025.
The active participation of TB Caucus members in the WTD activities was coordinated and supported by the PCA office, ensuring effective engagement and visibility throughout the commemoration period.
